Diabetes drug tested as potential blood thinner

NCT ID NCT06933056

Summary

This early research study aims to see if a medication called sotagliflozin, which is used for diabetes, might also help reduce blood clotting. Researchers will compare its effects on blood platelets to those of several FDA-approved antiplatelet drugs like aspirin. The study involves 20 healthy volunteers who will have their blood tested to measure clotting activity.
