Summary
This study is testing whether sorbitol, a common sugar alcohol, can improve the effectiveness of standard chemotherapy and immunotherapy for locally advanced stomach cancer. Researchers will compare sorbitol against a placebo in 80 patients who will receive the treatment for 3 months before surgery. The goal is to see if sorbitol helps shrink tumors better and improves long-term outcomes for patients.
