Summary
This study tested a combination of two drugs, sorafenib and pembrolizumab, in 37 adults with advanced liver cancer that had spread. The goal was to see if the combination could shrink tumors or slow cancer growth. The approach uses sorafenib to block cancer cell growth and pembrolizumab to help the immune system attack the cancer.
