One-Day sound and light combo could cure skin cancer without surgery

Summary
This study tests a new treatment for a common type of skin cancer called nodular basal cell carcinoma. The therapy combines light and sound waves to destroy cancer cells in a single visit. About 142 adults with small skin cancers (up to 1 cm) will receive this treatment. The goal is to see if the cancer is completely gone after one month and stays away for six months.
