NCT ID NCT04815863
Summary
This study aimed to understand how common unexplained physical symptoms (somatic symptoms) are in China, and to compare rates between older and younger adults. Researchers surveyed over 9,000 people living in their communities using questionnaires to measure these symptoms, as well as anxiety and depression. The goal was to map out the problem and identify what factors might put older adults at higher risk for these distressing symptoms.
