NCT ID NCT07164859

First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 28 times

Summary

This study looks at whether older adults (65+) who get a heart stent can safely stop one of their two blood thinners (aspirin) after just 7 days instead of taking it for months. The goal is to lower the chance of serious bleeding without increasing the risk of heart attack, stroke, or death. About 1,700 participants will be randomly assigned to either the short or standard treatment plan and followed for one year.
