First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 12, 2026 · Updated 31 times
Summary
This study tested two methods to make the gum tissue thicker around dental implants in 52 adults with thin gums. One group received a graft using their own connective tissue, while the other used a collagen matrix. The main goal was to see how much the gum thickened after 90 days, and they also looked at pain, swelling, and aesthetics.
