First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 01, 2026 · Updated 26 times

Summary

This study looks at how people with end-stage kidney disease manage sodium levels when given extra water or salt. Researchers want to test if current theories about sodium balance hold true in these patients. The goal is to better understand hyponatremia (low sodium), a common and dangerous condition. 60 adults on stable dialysis will participate.
