NCT ID NCT07562997

First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study looks at whether giving very preterm infants extra sodium (based on blood and urine tests) helps them gain muscle and fat better than standard milk fortification. About 150 babies born between 24 and 31 weeks will be enrolled from three hospitals. Researchers will track growth using ultrasound and body composition measurements.
