New dialysis method aims to reduce fluid problems for kidney patients
NCT ID NCT06341452
Summary
This study is testing whether adjusting sodium levels during dialysis can help patients with end-stage kidney disease. Researchers want to see if this personalized approach reduces fluid weight gain between treatments and prevents dangerous blood pressure drops during dialysis. The trial will compare standard dialysis to dialysis with special sodium management features.
