First seen Sep 30, 2025 · Last updated May 18, 2026 · Updated 30 times

Summary

This study compares a new, individualized sodium management feature on dialysis machines to standard treatment for people with end-stage kidney disease. The goal is to see if it reduces weight gain between sessions, improves blood pressure stability, and lowers complications during dialysis. About 130 adults will participate, and researchers will also track thirst, fatigue, and overall well-being.
