Summary
This study tests whether a superoxide dismutase (SOD) spray can prevent severe radiation dermatitis (skin burns) in 140 head and neck cancer patients undergoing radiotherapy. The spray aims to neutralize free radicals that cause skin damage. Researchers will check patients weekly for skin reactions and compare the timing and severity of any burns.
