Summary
This study tested a special coaching program designed to help Hispanic/Latino caregivers who feel lonely and isolated while caring for family members with dementia. Ten participants received eight weeks of one-on-one therapy sessions focused on building social connections and reducing loneliness. Researchers measured whether the program helped caregivers feel less lonely and more satisfied with their social lives.
