Can a phone app help people cut back on drinking?

Summary
This is a small pilot study to see if a digital program called 'Let's Do Addiction Recovery Together!' (LDART) is practical, acceptable, and shows early signs of helping adults with alcohol use disorder. The study will enroll 80 adults in Connecticut who report heavy drinking and want to cut down. Participants will be randomly assigned to either use the LDART app for a month or be in a control group, and researchers will track their drinking habits and engagement with the program.
