New tool helps doctors see how patients reclaim their lives after rehab

This study tested an Italian version of a questionnaire called the Reintegration to Normal Living Index (RNLI) to see if it accurately measures how well complex patients are returning to everyday life after leaving a physical medicine and rehabilitation unit. Researchers enrolled 117 patients and asked them and their caregivers to complete the RNLI and another assessment. The goal was to validate the tool so healthcare professionals can better identify patients who need extra support to reintegrate into family, work, and community life.
