Instagram to the rescue? teens try quitting vaping with peer support

NCT ID NCT07437196

Summary

This small pilot study tested a new way to help teens and young adults quit vaping. Researchers created private Instagram groups where participants received messages from a counselor and support from peer mentors who had already quit. The goal was to see if this social media approach was practical and acceptable for helping young people stop using e-cigarettes.
