Can facebook posts fight future cancer? study targets rural youth habits
NCT ID NCT05618158
Summary
This study tested whether a social media campaign could encourage healthier habits to prevent cancer later in life. It involved nearly 1,800 young adults (ages 18-26) from rural areas in four southwestern states. Researchers delivered health information through private Facebook groups to see if it led to better exercise, diet, sun protection, and vaccination rates.
