Summary

This study tested whether a mobile app could help teens with eating disorders who weren't getting treatment. Researchers recruited 161 teens from Instagram and Facebook. Participants used a self-help app, some with coaching and a social networking feature. The goal was to see if the app could reduce eating disorder symptoms and improve quality of life.
