Do instagram ads make teens eat more? new study investigates

NCT ID NCT06969651

Summary

This study aims to understand how different parts of social media ads—like seeing people of the same race, 'likes,' or pictures of unhealthy food—affect how much teens eat. Researchers will recruit 480 teenagers and track their eye movements and food choices after showing them ads. The goal is to learn what makes these ads influential, not to test a treatment.
