Summary
This study tested a new social-emotional learning program called EMPOWER in after-school programs for youth aged 11-14. Researchers wanted to see if the program was easy to use and if it helped improve teens' social-emotional skills, resilience, and overall well-being. About 218 participants, including youth, staff, and parents, took part across 20 after-school sites.
