Scientists seek better way to spot hidden social struggles in Huntington's patients
NCT ID NCT07253038
Summary
This study aims to test whether a new assessment tool can detect problems with social understanding in people with early Huntington's disease. Researchers will compare 20 people with Huntington's to 20 healthy volunteers using several tests that measure how well people understand others' emotions and intentions. The goal is to develop better methods for identifying these social challenges, which could help patients and families better understand the disease and guide care recommendations.
