Can positive daydreaming after therapy ease social fears?

NCT ID NCT06564402

Summary

This study is testing whether adding a positive mental rehearsal exercise after a standard anxiety therapy session can better reduce symptoms of social anxiety. Researchers are comparing two groups: one that practices standard mental review of a therapy session and another that focuses specifically on positive aspects of the experience. The goal is to see if the positive-focused approach leads to greater symptom improvement one week later.
