Can a simple calf exercise make soccer players faster?
NCT ID NCT07482254
Summary
This study is testing if a specific calf-strengthening exercise, done right before playing, can give youth soccer players a short-term boost in speed, jumping, and agility. Twelve elite male players from a professional academy will try the exercise and a simple walking warm-up on different days to compare results. The goal is to gather knowledge that could help coaches design better warm-up routines.
