First seen Nov 17, 2025 · Last updated Jun 16, 2026 · Updated 28 times
Summary
This study compares how full and satisfied people feel after eating a high protein snack bar versus a high carbohydrate snack bar. About 150 healthy adults aged 18-65 with a normal or slightly overweight BMI will eat each type of bar on separate days and rate their hunger, fullness, and desire to eat. They will also eat from a buffet to see how much they eat after each bar. The goal is to understand which snack bar helps control appetite better.
