First seen Jan 06, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 29 times
Summary
This study tests whether mobile health support (like text messages) and financial rewards can help older, low-income smokers in Hong Kong quit. 1,200 participants aged 60+ will be randomly assigned to receive one or both supports. The goal is to see if these tools boost long-term, verified smoking abstinence.
