Summary
This study tests a program to help smoking parents quit by combining brief advice, nicotine replacement therapy (like patches or gum), and mobile messaging support. The goal is to help parents stop smoking and reduce their children's exposure to secondhand smoke. About 1,200 daily smokers who live with children and non-smoking family members will take part. The program is compared to a waitlist group that receives help later.
