NCT ID NCT06169813
Summary
This pilot study is testing two different phone-based support programs to help people living with HIV in South Africa reduce or quit smoking. Researchers are comparing e-cigarettes to nicotine patches, both combined with motivational text messages and counseling. The goal is to find practical, effective ways to improve health outcomes for this vulnerable group by addressing their tobacco use.
