Summary
This study aims to help active smokers quit before they undergo a procedure to diagnose a suspicious spot on their lung. Researchers will offer counseling and support to 25 participants and then check if they have successfully stopped smoking after 3 months. The goal is to see if this moment of medical concern can be a powerful motivator for quitting.
