Scientists sniff out clues to bipolar disorder
NCT ID NCT06809881
Summary
This study aimed to understand if there is a link between a person's sense of smell and bipolar disorder. Researchers compared smell test results and brain scans from 240 people with bipolar disorder to healthy volunteers. The goal was to gather information to help understand the biology of the condition, not to test a new treatment.
