Smartwatches could become the new Doctor's eye for rare nerve disease

NCT ID NCT07273903

Summary

This study is testing if smartwatches can help monitor a rare nerve disease called CIDP in patients receiving at-home treatment. Researchers will give 35 participants a smartwatch to wear for a year, tracking their activity, sleep, and heart rate. The goal is to see if this continuous data can provide a clearer picture of their health and treatment response between clinic visits.
