Smartwatch trial aims to boost sleep apnea treatment success
NCT ID NCT07377968
Summary
This study is testing if using a Garmin smartwatch helps people with moderate to severe sleep apnea stick to using their CPAP breathing machine. Researchers will compare 80 first-time CPAP users, with half using the watch's sleep and health data for motivation and half not. The main goal is to see if the watch leads to more nightly hours of CPAP use.
