Apple watch heart test study aims to predict damage in cancer survivors
NCT ID NCT05617391
Summary
This study compares heart rhythm readings from an Apple Watch to standard clinical ECG tests in adult survivors of childhood cancer. Researchers want to see if the smartwatch readings match the clinical tests and can predict future heart damage risk. The goal is to develop a model using only smartwatch data to identify survivors at risk for heart muscle problems.
