Your watch could save your life after heart surgery
NCT ID NCT05573633
Summary
This study is testing if a smartwatch can find a dangerous irregular heartbeat that often happens silently after heart surgery. About 324 patients who just had heart surgery will be randomly assigned to either use a smartwatch for monitoring or receive the hospital's usual care. The goal is to see if the smartwatch helps doctors catch more of these silent, risky episodes early.
