Blood test + phone app could boost colon cancer screening
NCT ID NCT07398456
First seen Feb 23, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 15 times
Summary
This study looks at whether a simple blood test for colorectal cancer, combined with a smartphone app, can encourage more people to get screened. About 5,500 average-risk adults aged 45-84 will either use the blood test alone or also get app-based reminders and guidance. The goal is to see if the app helps people complete follow-up tests when needed and stick with regular screening.
