Smartphone app tested as a tool for measuring spine curvature

This study tested whether a smartphone inclinometer app can reliably measure the forward curve of the upper spine (thoracic kyphosis) compared to a standard flexible ruler. Sixty adults with at least a 30-degree curve were measured by two different raters. The goal was to see if the app gives consistent results, which could make monitoring easier and more accessible.
