Can your phone help you quit smoking? new app puts it to the test
NCT ID NCT05799625
Summary
This study is testing whether a specially designed smartphone app can help people who smoke become more ready to quit, try to quit, and ultimately stop smoking. The app uses daily reminders, games, and activities to help users think about their smoking habits. Researchers are comparing the app's effectiveness against standard information in 382 adult smokers in Ontario who are not currently planning to quit.
