First seen Jun 25, 2026 · Last updated Jun 26, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This study tests whether a smartphone app called PA4Health can help African American women who are not very active increase their physical activity. Fifty women will use either the app or receive wellness text messages for 8 weeks. The app includes goal setting, motivational messages, education, and a chatroom for peer support. Researchers will measure how much participants like the app and whether their activity levels change.
