Your phone could listen for heart disease
NCT ID NCT07376785
Summary
This study is testing a smartphone app that records heart sounds to see if it can accurately detect murmurs linked to congenital heart disease. Researchers will record the heart sounds of 220 participants during their normal hospital visits to build a database for training future AI tools. The goal is to create a simple, accessible screening method that could help identify heart problems earlier.
