Can your phone nudge you to feel less lonely?
NCT ID NCT07471529
Summary
This study is testing a smartphone app designed to help people with depression feel less lonely and more supported while they wait to start therapy. For 21 days, the app will send different types of encouraging prompts to 120 participants, asking them to reach out for social support. Researchers want to see if these timely nudges can reduce daily feelings of depression and loneliness, and which timing strategy works best.
