Can a week on your phone ease the heavy burden of caring for a loved one with Alzheimer's?
NCT ID NCT05949047
Summary
This study is testing a brief, one-week smartphone training program designed to help unpaid family caregivers of people with Alzheimer's disease manage their emotions and stress. Researchers will enroll 270 caregivers to learn different mental techniques, like psychological distancing, to see if they reduce feelings of burden, stress, and depression. The study also aims to see if helping the caregiver improves the quality of life for the person they are caring for.
