Phone app aims to spot 'Staring' seizures in kids
NCT ID NCT06093490
Summary
This study tested whether a smartphone app could help doctors identify absence seizures in children. The app guides kids through a safe, deep-breathing exercise and records video of their face. Researchers compared the app's video recordings to standard EEG brain monitoring to see if doctors could accurately spot seizures using just the phone video.
