First seen Feb 01, 2026 · Last updated Apr 25, 2026 · Updated 13 times

Summary

This study is testing a new technology called SmartMatch that checks how a person's brain tumor tissue reacts to different drugs. The goal is to see if the test can give results within 21 days after surgery. About 80 people aged 15 and older with recurrent brain tumors who are already scheduled for surgery at the NIH will take part. The results may help doctors choose better treatments, but they are not guaranteed to be helpful.
