Summary
This study tests whether adding smart video surveillance to a standard telealarm helps elderly people at risk of falling avoid unplanned hospital visits. About 395 adults aged 75+ who recently fell and live at home will be assigned to either telealarm alone or telealarm plus a video system that uses AI to detect falls automatically. The goal is to see if the video system reduces hospital readmissions within 90 days by catching falls faster.
