AI cameras watch over seniors to stop dangerous falls
NCT ID NCT05875038
First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 18, 2026 · Updated 28 times
Summary
This study tests whether an intelligent video system that uses AI to detect falls can help older adults (75+) stay safe at home better than a standard telealarm button. The video system automatically alerts help if someone falls, without needing the person to press a button. Researchers will compare how many people end up back in the hospital within 90 days between the two groups.
