Scientists test 'Smart Bandage' that reads amputee skin stress
NCT ID NCT07216183
Summary
This study is testing a new, thin sensor that sticks to the skin inside a prosthetic leg. Researchers want to see if it can reliably measure pressure, temperature, and sweat chemistry while people walk and do yoga. The goal is to learn how pressure affects the skin, which could help improve prosthetic comfort in the future.
