Smart mattress could replace sleep lab for apnea diagnosis

NCT ID NCT07432919

First seen Feb 28, 2026 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 15 times

Summary

This study will check if a special smart mattress can accurately detect obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) and other sleep problems compared to the standard sleep lab test (polysomnography). About 500 people will use the mattress during their sleep study. If it works well, it could offer a simpler, less invasive way to diagnose sleep apnea at home.
