Robot mattress aims to ease nurse burden and stop bedsores
NCT ID NCT07141134
Summary
This study is testing a special 'smart' air mattress that automatically turns patients in the ICU. The goal is to prevent painful bedsores, which are common in patients who can't move themselves. Researchers will compare this mattress to standard foam mattresses to see if it works just as well while saving nurses time and effort.
