Smart knee aims to help veterans walk safer and stronger

Summary
This study is testing if a 'smart' prosthetic knee that automatically adjusts while walking is better than a standard knee for Veterans with above-knee leg loss. About 20 Veterans will try both types of knees to see if the smart knee helps them walk faster, fall less, and feel more confident. The goal is to see if this technology should be offered more widely to improve mobility and quality of life.
