Smart brace and cancer drug team up to help kids with CP walk better

NCT ID NCT07434492

Summary

This study is testing whether a 'smart' ankle brace, used at home for 6 weeks, can improve walking and community mobility for children with cerebral palsy. Some participants may also receive an injection of a drug called 5-Azacitidine, which is approved for cancer but may help muscles grow, to see if it boosts the brace's effects. The goal is to find new ways to help children with CP move more easily and independently.
