Brain-Wave monitor aims to make surgery safer
NCT ID NCT06317025
Summary
This study tested a new monitoring system designed to help anesthesiologists better track how deeply a patient is asleep during surgery. It combined measurements of brain waves, oxygen levels, heart rate, and blood pressure using computer algorithms. The goal was to create a tool that works for patients of different ages and with different anesthesia drugs, potentially helping to avoid anesthesia that is too deep or too shallow.
